The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is a non-profit, open-door shelter serving approximately 10,000 animals a year. In addition to offering great animals for adoption, the humane society provides humane education, pet-facilitated therapy, and animal behavior counseling.Our Adoption Process:
The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:1. Adopted animals must be neutered.
2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.
3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.
4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
5. All animals must be returned to this shelter if the situation does not work out. They cannot be re-homed.
