About Our Rescue Group:

Please support this website by rescuing a cat or kitten from one of the participating organizations. Due to the ever growing rescue of cats and kittens, we are always in need of your help. Support help volunteers, foster home volunteers, and donations are always welcome for our animal friends.
NEEDED ITEMS: cat beds, dry and wet cat food, cat toys, and donations for medical expenses.
OUR POLICY: Each resued cat and kitten is an INDOOR PET ONLY, not an outdoor animal, not for breeding, or fighting. Each of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption takes place, to insure that each receives a good home. City ordinances require that each cat and kitten be spayed or neutered. Our cats and kittens receive two sets of shots, a Rabies shot, deworming, and leukemia testing. Each is also spayed and neutered, including kittens age appropriate for receiving the operation. The full adoption process is required for each applicant.
Adopters are expected to keep their pet current on all vaccinations, including necessary vaccines and Rabies shot. Each pet should be fed only the best food. Excellent brands include Science Diet, Eukanuba, Iams, Pro Plan, and Nutro. Fresh water should be supplied at all times.
Please send any donations to Rescued Friends, Inc., PO Box 623, Arlington, Texas, 76010.

Our adoption dates are held every weekend in Arlington. Contact us to find locations and animals available.

Each applicant will be asked to fill out a pre-application handout to insure their qualifications as a good home. Then if approved, and once the animal is seen by both possible owner and foster parent, a final application will be administered to the possible owner for adoption. Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
