Cat Adoption Fees
$125 – Kittens under 6 months
$100 – Adult cats
Free – Cats over 5 years
Life Companions: Cats who go home together will have only one adoption fee!

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, 24hr PetWatch microchip, FIV/FELV testing, flea and tick preventative, de-worming, ear cleaning and nail trim. A voucher for a free office visit from our local veterinarians is also included with the adoption. In addition, a free 30-day gift of 24hr PetWatch Pet Insurance will be offered to adopters who provide an email address. Adopters will receive a $10 gift certificate to BowWow Meow Pet Boutique and many other coupons and discounts.

Dog Adoption Fees
$200 – Puppies and small breed dogs
$175 – Adults and medium/large breed dogs

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella vaccines, 24hr PetWatch microchip, Lyme’s & Heartworm testing, flea and tick preventative, de-worming, ear cleaning and nail trim. A voucher for a free office visit from our local veterinarians is also included with the adoption. In addition, a free 30-day gift of 24hr PetWatch Pet Insurance will be offered to adopters who provide an email address. Build the bond with your new dog by participating in an obedience training course compliment of the Wisconsin Rapids Kennel Club. Adopters will receive a $10 gift certificate to BowWow Meow Pet Boutique and many other coupons and discounts.

Adoption Discounts:
Adopters over the age of 55 receive $20 off adoption fee.
Military veterans receive $20 off adoption fee.

Many of our pets have adoption sponsors. This monetary donation reduces the cost of adoption for the pet.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
