Southland Sheltie Rescue, Inc., services the Southern California region. Southland Sheltie Rescue; San Diego serves residents and pets in the San Diego County area.
Southland Sheltie Rescue, Inc., is dedicated to finding loving forever homes for Shelties who need help. Southland Sheltie Rescue gives Shelties respite through a network of foster homes throughout Southern California. The Shelties are given love, socialization, and medical care. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization, and operate solely on donations. All donations go directly to the Shelties in our care. Come Meet our Pets:
Check out our website and contact your local coordinator for more information on a particular Sheltie. Available Shelties are in foster homes throughout the region. Please fill out the application and make an appointment for a home visit. Once the application and home visit are approved you are welcome to meet prospective Shelties in their foster homes by appointment only.
Our Adoption Process:
Southland Sheltie Rescue, Inc., has a three part adoption process; first fill out the adoption application, second set up a home visit, and third set up an adoption interview. A contract is required once the Adoption is approved and the donation is made. Suggested adoption donations range from $150 to $350 depending on the age/ condition of the Sheltie and circumstances of the adoption. There is a two week trial period just in case the match doesn't work out.
