About Our Rescue Group:

Little Zoo Animal Rescue & Adoption Program

Our Mission

Marsh’s Little Zoo was created in 2004, but before we had our official name is was previously known as “Little Zoo 4 You” which started as only a rescue program back in 2002.We started taking in smaller animals only rabbits & cats & dogs, but as time past we had our barn built and took in many animals not only through our rescue program, but primarily due to the “ZooKeeper” and her love of all animals.

We try our best to help out anyone in need whether they are looking to re-home either their own pets or people looking to adopt a new friend into their family .My doors are always welcome to shelters, and other non-profit organizations that just may need our help.

In all honesty we are here to help out everyone who needs us, sometimes if we are full, we will help you locate adopters, or even direct you to people/places that may help. Anything we can do don’t hesitate to ask!

Our rescue animals that are here are at ease and live a VERY comfortable life. They never have to worry about FOOD, Shelter, Love, Affection, Getting medical Attention, and also Socialization. Our Cats after evaluation & Vet check up are not in cages, and the same goes for our dogs, with space available sometimes they are kenneled but are also out most of the day to play! The only animals that stay in cages or tanks is Fish & Rodents etc. But they too have “recess” outside of their homes. As for our Rabbits that are housed outside, unless otherwise brought in as “INDOOR ONLY” also have Playpens that they are out in every other day. To eat and run around freely!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
