About Our Rescue Group:

MCM Rottweiler Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to finding homes for our breed. Our physical location is New York City and Long Island. We are a small group just trying to do our part.

Due to the lack of foster homes, we are at this time we are mostly doing referrals. Naturally we are very upset by this as there are so many Rottweilers in the shelters. The referrals we do will be for dogs in private homes as well as dogs in jeopardy in kill shelters. We would like to put out a serious plea for foster homes. If you are considering a Rottweiler and would like to foster one, please contact us

Our Adoption Process:

All dogs owned by MCM Rottweiler Rescue Inc are neutered and evaluated before placement. The dogs go out on contracts.

If you are interested in a dog please email rottieresq@msn.com for an application to adopt. You will be contacted shortly thereafter.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
