About Our Rescue Group
No We just Me and my new partner (2005) in adoptions Fawn!! Many people say one person can't make a difference well I'm one to prove them wrong, and Fawn is right behind me!!! I have done rescue since 1999 now and have placed over 350 dogs and several dozens of cats in that time. A few birds, bunnies, ferrets, chinchillas and oh yeah can't forget the full grown pot belly pig named Harley. First I was helping a larger group and now I do this on my own, time and money permitting. My record is over 150 dogs and many cats in one year ,with my new help, all placed in great homes in 2006!! Our Adoption Number for 2007 were 120.

Adoption Events 3 times a month Adoption Outreaches are 1st Saturday & 3rd Sunday of every month from 11-5 at Petsmart by Pen & Memorial 2140 W Memorial Rd Oklahoma City, OK 7313 Also this year we will be at Edmond Petsmart on Broadway on the 3rd Sat of every month from 11-5 Inbetween adoption events: Animals are in differnt foster homes please call to arrange a meeting time. I'm located in Southwest Oklahoma City. I travel to the Tulsa area often. If you are interested in adoption please call 405-413-2895. I'm a private rescue so I cannot place my address here or I would end up with animals dumped at my door. Our Adoption Process
The process for adoption is simple if you don't mind answering alot of questions. All animals are on a 14 day foster to adopt, meaning if it don't work out you return the pet and medical records and your adoption fee is returned.
Adoption fees for dogs are $85 for mixes ,$100 plus(as listed) for purebred, & small breeds less than 25lbs are also $100. $65 for adult cats and $75 for kittens less than 6 months old. Adoption fees may vary depending on medical bills incured on the animal each pet should have a fee listed in thier Info. I prefer to place my pets in Oklahoma. I will not ship animals. I always do a home inspection on Pit Bull Breeds. I require dogs to be on heartworm preventive. Adoption contracts are filled out at time of placement. I will always take the animal back in the future if you become unable to keep it. Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group. |
