We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties: Texas, primarily though not exclusively Central and South Texas. We are located in San Antonio but have rescued dogs as far south as Brownsville and as far north as Dallas. We get a fair number of dogs from the Houston area and Killeen.

About Our Rescue Group

We rescue Welsh Corgis (both Cardigan and Pembroke), Great Danes, some Corgi mixes, and occasionally a Great Dane mix (though we rarely have home for those). We also get other mixed breed dogs into rescue, and list animals as a courtesy for people who need to rehome their pets. We also rescue cats. All animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, and get all their shots and are tested for heartworms. There is an application process, and the adoption fee is $95 for mixes, $250 for purebred Corgis, $275 for Great Danes, and $70 for cats. The adoption fee is reduced for older animals or those with chronic health conditions.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
