About Our Shelter:

We are a private, non-profit, limited admissions shelter. We are equipped to mainly house and care for cats. We depend solely on donations and fund-raising to sustain our operation. A surrender fee is requested. Dogs are accepted on a space available basis. We do not take stray dogs.

Come Meet our Pets:

Our shelter is open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am-3pm. Please call before coming out on Saturday as this is when we generally have off-site adoption events. We do not take stray dogs. We maintain a waiting list to surrender cats. We are also partnered with PetsMart. Adoptable cats and kittens can be see at the Mansfield store located at 2275 Walker Lake Road.

Our Adoption Process:

We require an adoption application be filled out. We ask for a personal reference, vet reference and a copy of your rental agreement (if applicable). Adoption fee for cats is $75.00, dogs is $100.00. All pets are neutered, tested, microchipped and vaccinated appropriately.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
