Pets at Our Rescue Group:

About Our Rescue Group:

Cat Action Team of Everett, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 no-kill cat rescue organization that's committed to eliminating the suffering and controlling the overpopulation of homeless cats and kittens. In addition to providing adoption services, we support and run programs in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), socialization of feral cats and kittens, and foster home placement for special needs animals.

Come Meet our Pets:

Cat Action Team of Everett currently operates as a "virtual shelter". Our cats are all in foster homes. Adopters can visit the cats with their foster families. Cats are also available to meet and greet at area pet store Adoption Day events which are advertised on our web site.

Our Adoption Process:

Cat Action Team of Everett requires potential adopters to fill out an adoption application to begin the adoption process. An online form is available on our web site, or we can send adopters the application as a word processing document by email. We need to know an adopter's contact information, intended veterinarian, proof of right to keep cats in one's residence, information about people and animals sharing the household, and personal references who can vouch for the adopter being a responsible pet caretaker.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
