About Our Shelter
We are a private shelter. We have contracts with several municipalities to do their animal control and dog licencing. We also do pet adoptions, grooming and boarding of pets. Our mission statement: "To shelter all healthy and sociable animals in a loving, clean environment until a suitable home is found."
Come Meet our Pets
We are located northwest of London. We are close to the 402 hwy. You would exit at either Strathroy or Komoka. We are on the old 22 hwy. which used to be the main highway to get from London to Sarnia. Look for us on the north side of the highway west of Lobo or east of Poplar Hill. Look for our large sign and the blue number "5592"
Our Adoption Process
We interview our clients and if they can provide a sutiable home, we have them sign an adoption policy. We stress that our pets are a life time committment. We charge $75. for a mature dog or kitten. Our cats are all spayed and neutered before adoption and the fee for them is $125. Our pups are also $125. Taxes are on top of these prices.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
