Cause 4 Paws, Inc
About Our Rescue Group
Cause 4 Paws is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that rescues cats & kittens from the community and from overcrowded shelters. All of the rescued felines are fostered in the home of a volunteer until they are placed in permanent, loving homes. Cause 4 Paws has only been in existence for 4 years and has already saved and placed over 650 cats & kittens.
Come Meet our Pets
Cause 4 Paws volunteers are at adoption events almost every Saturday. We can be found at the Madison Petshop in Madison, NJ, or at NJ Pets in East Hanover, NJ. Our volunteers are also happy to have potential adopters come to their homes to see foster cats & kittens by appointment. Please see our website (www.c4p.petfinder.com) for specific times and locations of upcoming adoption events.
Our Adoption Process
Cause 4 Paws has all foster cats & kittens tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered (if old enough) prior to adoption. In order to offset some of our veterinary bills, we do ask for an adoption fee of $100 when placing a cat or kitten. We like to spend time speaking to potential adopters in order to make sure that there is a good match between the kitty and the new family.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat
or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from
a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
