Come Meet our Pets:We hold weekly Adoption "Meet and Greet" sessions at Petco and other locations. Times and locations are posted on our website.
Our Adoption Process:After prospective adoption families have met their potential Pet to Be, they will submit an application for adoption.
Our application can also be found on our website and submitted on-line.
We do not place animals "on-the-spot." We ask the applicants to go home and think about it while we review their application by our committe and perform our vet reference check.
Once the application is approved we immediately inform the family and arrange for a home visit to determine the animals compatibility with the new surroundings and all concerned. If all goes well we complete the placement by accepting a tax-deductible adoption donation. The minimum donation for dogs is $175.00 and for cats is $95.00. Many of our adoption families donate more than the minimum to assist us with our on-going expenses.
All of our animals have been spayed or neutered, are heartworm negative and current with preventative. They are current with all vaccinations and rabies, are parasite-free and covered by heath insurance for the first month in their new home. We have observed them for a sufficient amount of time and can attest to their behavior and personality. They are clean and happy.
