About Our Shelter:

The Cat’s Cradle is a rescue organization, adoption shelter, and sanctuary for homeless cats and kittens.

Our facility occupies several acres and includes a number of buildings, each one housing felines with a different set of needs. We’re located 15 miles south of Bryan-College Station, Texas.

Our services include:

Feline adoption, spay and neuter assistance, counseling on cat-related issues, and helping members of the community find good homes for their pets (using our matching database or by posting pet profiles on our web site).

The Cat’s Cradle is in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

Come Meet our Pets:

Many, but not all, pet profiles are posted on our web site. The best way to meet our cats and kittens is to call us anytime during the day or evening and arrange an appointment to visit. We answer our phone 365 days a year.

On weekends, we take a few of our adoptable cats for viewing at the College Station Petco. Please see our web site for details.

Our Adoption Process:

The Cat's Cradle is interested in finding good, permanent homes for our cats and kittens. We do have contracts and reasonable fees associated with adoption, and encourage us to call us with any questions you may have.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
