SOS MIOW
About Our Rescue Group
SOS MIOW is a registered non-profit feline rescue and adoption organization whose mandate is to help find permanent loving homes for homeless and abandonned cats and kittens through our rescue, sterilization, and adoption programs. All of our cats are examined by our veterinarians, vaccinated, and neutered/spayed. We are volunteers who rely strictly on donations.
Come Meet our Pets
We hold regular adoption clinics in and around the Ile Perrot, Vaudreuil, and West Island areas. Please see our website at www.sosmiow.com for the date and location of our next adoption clinic.
Our Adoption Process
To help cover our operating costs (vet bills, supplies, food, litter, etc.), we ask for a donation upon the adoption of one of our cats. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to continue to do our work. Please visit our website if you can help us.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat
or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from
a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
