Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue's adoption process

Additional adoption info

Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue reviews each adoption application in detail and will try to make the best match for you, your family and life style with the dogs that are available for adoption.

Each potential adoptee must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website, emailed, faxed or sent by snail mail. Your adoption application must be submitted in its entirety so that the information supplied can be verified.
After your application has been submitted, reviewed and information verified, you will be contacted regarding matches that have made between the dogs that are available for adoption and the requirements submitted on your application.
A member of Loving Spots will contact you to discuss the dogs availed to you for adoption. If a match has been found then a home check will be scheduled. If a match is not found, we will continue to find the right match for you.
A home check to the physical location where your dog will be residing is scheduled. This home visit may or may not include meeting of your potential companion. Please allow up to 3 hours for this process.
Once the home check has been completed and adoption is agreed upon, an Adoption Agreement is signed and a donation of $350.00 will be made to LSDR.
With in 15 days of your adoption, contact must be made with Dogs California, L.L.C. or agreement must be made otherwise regarding the continuation of training for you and your new companion.
The above is a guideline, which is followed regarding normal adoptions and placements of dogs through Loving Spots. Each and every adoption, dog, family and situation may differ. Adjustments can and will be made, but only by the determination of a Board Member of Loving Spots.

About Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue

Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue is a 501(c)3, nonprofit Organization. We are dedicated to the health and well being of the Dalmatian Breed. Our main objective is to take in, assist, rehabilitate and re-home rescues that come to us from many resources, i.e. local animal shelters, owner surrenders, other rescue groups and as strays.

Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue does have a permanent facility, which can only house a limited number of dogs; consequently, some dogs must be fostered. In which case our facility and foster homes provide these dogs with a safe environment, high quality food, clean water, exercise, medical attention, rehabilitation if needed and are taught the ability to socialize with people, dogs and other animals.

Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue's adopted pets

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Conroe, TX.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
