Additional adoption info
All intersted adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application. Upon review of the application, the potential adopter will be contacted to set up a time for an interview and to meet the pet.
If after the visit the adopter would like to proceed with the adoption, a home visit will be scheduled.
Upon completion of the home visit, pets over the age of 6 months will be scheduled for spay/neuter surgery. Those adopting pets under the age of six months will be asked to sign a spay/neuter contract.
Our adoption fee is $65.00, which includes a signed adoption contract.

Funds and volunteer labor would also be used to improve the living conditions of animals housed at the shelter, so that all shelter pets would be housed in clean, dry, and well-maintained kennels and/or cages. And that while in the care of the shelter all animals would receive medical attention, as needed, as well as good nutrition, socialization and training.
