Serenity Animal Hospital
About Our Rescue Group
We are a veterinary hospital that accepts kittens who, for one reason or other, are not able to be cared for by their mothers. Often times the mothers have been hit by cars. A few of our dedicated staff take these kittens home and bottle feed them every 2-6 hours around the clock depending on the age of the kittens, until they are ready for adoption. We have a large selection of beautiful kittens that are waiting for a loving home. Also, please don't forget the adult cats we have who also need to find a forever home with lots of love. We currently have many adult cats and kittens available. Please call, e-mail, or stop by to see us if you are interested in any additional information on our kittens or cats.
Come Meet our Pets
Cats and kittens can be seen between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm Monday thru Friday and by appointment on Saturdays.
Please be aware that we are a veterinary hospital first and there may be a wait before you can visit with the cats. Calling before you come is always appreciated.

Our Adoption Process
If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please contact us. You are asked to fill out an adoption application. We will show you all available cats and kittens upon approval of your application.
If you decide on a cat, we ask that you place a non-refundable $50 deposit so that we do not show the cat to anyone else. You may then take the cat home as soon as the next day (if already altered) or the day after their alteration surgery.

The total adoption donation for our kittens is $150. For adults under 2 years of age it is $100 and for those over 2 years it is $75. This donation includes;

~ Medical exams by licensed veterinarians
~ Spay or Neuter
~ Feline Leukemia/FIV test
~ Age appropriate vaccinations
~ Fecal exams and dewormings
~ Soft Paws (if not already declawed)
~ A starter bag of food
~ A specially prepared kit of handouts on common cat raising questions and concerns
~ An offer for discounted microchipping
~ And should you choose to return to us for your pets health care, the first Office Call/Physical Exam charge is at no cost.

You are pemitted to front declaw your cat only but you must have the cat in your home for two weeks. The cost of this procedure is NOT covered in the adoption.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
