Come Meet our Pets:

We hold adoption events every Saturday from 10am to 1pm at 207 S. Main St. in Kannapolis, NC. We always have a good selection of dogs and puppies, but our animals live in foster homes, so we ask that you give us at least two days' advanced notice if there is a particular pet you are interested in meeting.
Our adoption fee is $140.00 for dogs and puppies. This fee covers the spay/neuter surgery at a spay/neuter clinic in Charlotte or Concord, all shots are up to date as of the day of adoption, heartworm testing and preventative.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption process starts with an adoption application. When you appy, we will do everything we can to assist you in adopting a companion animal that will be an excellent fit for you and your family. In the best interest of you and the animals, we sincerely want you to find you your "forever dog." We do vet reference checks and reserve the right to perform a home visit on any adoption. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant, if in our judgement, the home environment is not compatible with the needs of the animal or if the animal is not suitable for the applicant.
If you do your homework, adopting a rescue can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a lifetime.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
