About Our Rescue Group:

Our MISSION

The primary focus at B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)is rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them.
B.A.R.K. covers healthcare costs for its orphans by partnering with various local veterinarians who provide routine vaccinations or booster shots, disease testing & treatment (heartworm, etc.), and spay/neuter services.
B.A.R.K volunteer foster's provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families.
Our first priority is the care and safety of our orphans. We also do our best to be a resource for dog owners within the community and support others who are advocating for the welfare of dogs.

The potential adopter completes an application. The application is reviewed within 3-5 business days. Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
