Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We accept owner-surrendered animals and strays from Otsego County and other counties on a case-by-case basis. We will adopt animals out to anyone within the United States. Adopters must sign a contract to have the animal spayed or neutered within thirty days after adoption if the animal is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption.About Our Shelter:
We are an animal control agency and animal shelter. We have a "no-kill of adoptable pets policy". This means that unless an animal is deemed unadoptable due to aggression and/or medical reasons, the animal will not be euthanized. Our animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, if for some reason they are not, an adoption agreement must be signed stating that the owner must have them altered within 30 days of the adoption (or before 6 months of age).Come Meet our Pets:
Our shelter is open for adoptions Monday-Friday from 8AM-4:30PM and Saturday from 9AM-Noon. We are located at the end of 7th street, two blocks South of the State Police Post. Our Adoption Process:

This fee includes a current Michigan dog license.Adoption Fees for Cats is $45 (if the dog is not already altered, $25 is refunded after proof of spaying or neutering is provided).
All cats and dogs are given a routine vaccine upon entering the shelter. Puppies and kittens (adults if they show symptoms) are given medication for internal parasites (worms).
