Los Angeles/San Bernardino Counties and sorrounding areas.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a very much needed rescue org. that focuses on educating the community in our area about humane treatment of animals and proper neutering/spaying to alleviate the pet overpopulation in California.

We are also rescueing and adopting dogs that were surrendered to our organization, strays and dogs that we bail out of kill shelters. We ocassionally have some cats(as space permits us).
If you are interested in a particular pet(s) please e-mail us to dogsandcatslatinorescue@yahoo.com letting us know the name of the pet(s) you are interested to adopt and we'll send you an adoption application. Before we set up an appointment for the interested applicant to meet the dog, an application MUST be already approved to first determine if the pet and the individual applicant/family are a good match. After we approve your application we will call you to set up an appointment to come in to meet the pet(s) or we will e-mail you to let you know the reason why we are declining your application. We do random home visits depending on the individual circumstances and type of dog being adopted.

All our foster dogs live in temporary foster homes where they are being loved, physically rehabilitated, potty trained, socialized, fed and overall taken care of while awaiting permanent adoption.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed and have frontline on for fleas and ticks. All dogs are also microchipped. Dogs are available to be seen by appointment only.

We are a group of people that has seen the great pet overpopulation and the unneeded deaths of millions of these animals. We feel one of the keys to eliminate that problem is to educate the public about dog desexing and make them aware of the thousands of dogs and cats that are killed every year.

We mainly concentrate in dog rescuing but occassionally we have a cat or two for adoption.

Come Meet our Pets:

We do not adopt ANY of our rescued animals unaltered. We hold on to any rescued puppies until they are spayed/neutered (we don't neuter/spay them till 6months of age due to health reasons) before adopting them out.

We require an applicatiomn first to determine if the pet and the family are a good match. We then have a contract that has to be filled out. We do random home visits. Our fosters are adopted already spayed/neutered, with updated vaccinations and microchipped.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
