No limitations.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a 501c3 organization formed in 2002. We rescue dogs from municipal shelters, from the street, and we assist the public with stray animals found. We also work with hospice and assisted living centers to rehome their clients' animals and give them peace of mind. Our dogs are heartworm tested, fecal tested, spayed and neutered, and microchipped. Any necessary surgeries or heartworm treatments are performed.
We are a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Animal Welfare Committee and the Metroplex Animal Coalition. Our goal is to promote mandatory spay/neuter programs and to promote stronger and less ambiguous legislation regarding animal neglect and cruelty.

Our Adoption Process:

We have an adoption application to complete and return. We do vet reference checks and home visits. If renting, we must speak to the landlord to be certain the breed and size of the pet is acceptable to them and to confirm a pet deposit is required and has been paid. We do not adopt dogs under 25 pounds or puppies to families with children under 6 years of age. Our adoption fee is $150-$250 for adult dogs and $175 for dogs under 6 months of age.
Please note: We have a legally binding contract to sign upon adoption. The adoption is not complete until we have a signed contract and the adoption fee has been received.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
