Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We don't have a physical shelter. All our low cost spay/neuter options for strays/ferals and all our foster homes for rescues are in and around Columbus, Ohio.

About Our Rescue Group:

Forgotten 4-Paws is a Central Ohio non-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization concerned with the welfare of all animals. We are a small group with no physical shelter. Our goal is to help with resources and information to get as many cats, kittens, dog, and puppies spayed and neutered! We also maintain several feral communities and take care of all our rescues until they find their forever homes.

Come Meet our Pets:

Many of our pets are in foster care. We rely on social media/websites to get them adopted. We have many adult cats aged 8 - 15 years old that deserve their forever home.

We do have kittens/cats waiting to be adopted in the Cat Adoption room at the Easton PetSmart located at 3713 Easton Market Columbus, OH 43219.

We also bring more foster kittens/cats every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-3:30 p.m. at the Easton PetSmart.

If you are interested in any of our pets that are not at PetSmart, please email us for more information.

Our Adoption Process:

We have an adoption application process. It takes us 2-4 business days to review each application. The application is available online at, on our Facebook Group under the File option, or at the Easton PetSmart. We are also able to email it, if you send us a request.

Our adoption fee for kittens/cats are $75 for 1 and $120 for 2. The adoption fee includes testing, altering (certificates will be given for those not old enough at the time of adoption), vaccinations (current through time of adoption), micro-chipping, and any other vet services necessary to ensure you have a healthy pet to add to your family.

Adopting is a huge commitment and our goal is to ensure each kitten/cat is placed in their forever home that is the right match for humans and felines alike.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
