Tolland Animal Control is a Municipal Shelter serving the residents of Tolland, CT.

About Our Shelter:

Tolland Animal Control picks up stray dogs in the town of Tolland, holds dogs who are not claimed 7 days per state law before offering them for adoption. Being a Municipal Shelter, we are not able to be a No-Kill facility. Although we do give the dogs plenty of time to find new homes, there is a limitation.

Our Adoption Process:

Adoption Fees: $50.00 (includes voucher for Spay/Neuter, Rabies, and Distemper Vaccines)

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
