All cats/kittens are $95.00. If a cat is over 6 yrs. or older, the fee is reduced to $50.00. We do NOT guarantee “housebroken.” If the animal is listed as housebroken it is because he/she has not had accidents for a period of time moving forward in the foster home. Some animals may regress during the transition to a new home which is why we do not provide a guarantee. Patience and consistency is always key. ATTENTION: Beginning June 30th, 2017, MAS Rescue will charge a $10 non refundable administrative application processing fee for all dog applications.. 100% of this fee will be for our rescued animals in need. To be clear: 1. No dog application will be processed until the $10 fee is paid via PayPal link on our website: http://www.masrescue.org/helpus.html.2. The $10 is non refundable. Should you be approved and adopt an animal through MAS Rescue, you will receive a $10 credit to your adoption fee.3. Paying the application fee is in no way a guarantee that you will be approved to adopt an animal through MAS Rescue. All of the same standards in processing applications still apply. See our policies and procedures: http://www.masrescue.org/pnp.html4. By submitting an application and paying the $10 application fee, you agree to the terms listed above. If you do not adopt through MAS Rescue or your application is rejected, this serves as your notice of the application fee policy.
We operate a small rescue organization that is determined to help unwanted shelter animals whose time has run out, and their destiny seems perilous. Maryland Animal Sanctuary & Rescue Organization is supported by a select few who have the same passionate desire to save as many shelter animals as possible. We are currently incorporated in the state of Maryland, and have been approved for Non-Profit status. Some of our animals come from far away, others come from local Maryland shelters, still others are displaced homeless animals found on the streets. All the animals are "fostered" out of volunteers' homes. They are socialized with children, other animals, and are exposed to normal family life. We do take each animal for a vet check, have them vaccinated, de-wormed etc... If an animal is 22 weeks or more, they will always be spayed/neutered. We require an adoption application, a signed contract and payment of the adoption fee. We will also do a 2 week follow-up check and a 6 month check-up including veterinarian follow-up on your new companion. If you are interested in adopting any of our furry four-legged friends, please visit www.masrescue.org for an adoption application. Please keep in mind: We will not ship animals, but will consider reasonable transport for the perfect home! The animals and I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for considering adoption from a rescue organization!
