MHPets, Inc
About Our Rescue Group
Our focus is on senior and special needs dogs, mainly small breeds. We work mainly with Yorkshire Terriers, English Bulldogs, and Chihuahuas. We often have mixed breeds and sometimes puppies available for adoption as well.
We are always in desperate need of foster homes and sponsors for our dogs. Because most of our work is with senior and special needs dogs, we often have quite a high vet bill. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Come Meet our Pets
All of our pets are in foster homes. If you'd like to meet a pet, please email us and we'll set up an appointment.
Our Adoption Process
If you are interested in adopting one of our fur babies, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.mhpets.com/application.php
Adoption fee varies on each dog. Transport to the New England area is available.
We also have a Seniors for Seniors program that helps place senior dogs with senior citizens. We are in need of sponsors to help keep this program going. If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring one of our rescued babies.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
