We take in strays from Ashland and Bayfield Counties but will adopt our animals to people from farther away as long as they are willing to travel to get the pet.

Our Adoption Process:

Fill out the application/consultation form and submit for review. The manager will call with follow up questions and a decision as to whether your home is suitable for the pet you've selected. A tax-deductible donation fee of $75 for cats/kittens and $120 for dogs/puppies is required.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
