About Our Rescue Group:

We are a new ministry to qualified families and shepherds in need of good homes. We believe that God created animals to help mankind and we are responsible to care for them. Shepherds are among the most devoted, intelligent, loyal, and beautiful animals on earth and provide comfort, protection, and love to their families and friends. They selflessly serve and are loyal to the death. They not only crave love and companionship - they deserve it.

Good Shepherd GSD Rescue is a ministry of Life Worth Living; a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization (45-0678816). All gifts are tax-deductible.

Our Adoption Process:

We require a minimum $300 adoption fee to offset veterinary fees, medicines, and food. Travel expense may also be required for transportation. Those wishing to adopt will be asked to provide references and commit to care for the shepherd(s) they adopt.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
