Furever After Rescue donations go directly to the care, transport and veterinary expenses of our rescued dogs. We are 100% nonprofit volunteer rescue that relies on donations to continue our work, we receive no government grants, and are NO KILL, we believe every life is valuable regardles of geographical situation.
You must be 18 to adopt and be able to provide a stable, loving home that values the dog as a member of the family who lives indoors with the family.
We do not have a kennel facility and rely on our amazing foster homes to evaluate, train and love our dogs. Our foster homes are the best there is: they have extensive dog experience, understand dog behavior and nuture their foster dog. Our Furever fosters play an integral role in ensuring our dogs go into the best adoptive home for them and are focussed on helping their foster become the best they can be. If that sounds like you, please apply we would love to have you onboard!

This donation is of no cost to you and provides us with essential funds. Make the right move and enroll today!
Adoptions are $200 up to $450 for dogs, this goes towards the expenses involved with saving dogs from at risk situations and includes training rebates for young dogs and puppies. Our certified dog trainers and animal science professionals place dogs in the Furever home that is the best fit for the dog.
Our innovative Purrfect Match program is another option for adoption. Its a sad fact that over 9000 pets are euthanised every day. We can find nearly any dog, any breed, in a high kill shelter. There are hundreds of amazing dogs in shelters dying every day- help us save just one(or two!) more and place it in a loving, responsible home.
We also work with rescuers that help First Nations Lands reduce their stray population and various Animal Control facilites and canine victims of neglect. These dogs are put through our rehabilitation program to help them regain their trust in mankind, and to regain their health.
Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
