Areas Robbin's Rescued Russells serves

I often travel throughout California and Nevada competing at Terrier Trials and Flyball Tournaments with my personal Jack Russells as well as some of my available Jack Russells. There's a good possibility that the Jack you have interest is closer to you than you think! All adoption interests are handled on an individual basis and under the right circumstances would definitely consider adopting within the United States. If you are interested in possibly adopting one of the Jack Russells I have available or if you just would like more information Please contact by email robbin@robbinsrescuedrussells.com or jrtresq@robbinsrescuedrussells.org.

About Robbin's Rescued Russells

Robbin’s Rescued Russells offers referral services, knowledge and guidance suggestions, and is a nonprofit dog rescue. Robbin’s Rescued Russells (RRR) is operated solely by myself, Robbin Grabowski. Since its conception in 2005, I have been dedicated to placing rescued Jack Russell Terriers into permanent, loving homes throughout California. It is this dedication that sets RRR apart both during and after the adoption process. I would consider an out-of state adoption to homes outside of California under special circumstances.
I do not have a facility that is open to the public, nor do I have any foster homes. When a rescued Jack enters my rescue program I welcome them into my home and they live with my personal dogs until an appropriate new home with people who understands and accepts the characteristics of this energetic devoted breed is found. Any dog having health issues is seen by my veterinarian, Dr. Kathy Sexton. Also during this time the dog is monitored for any behavioral issues they may have and a course to modify that behavior is determined. The dogs are given positive re-enforcement training; the opportunities to learn any needed social skills, and receive the much needed love, and medical care they deserve. Once all these issues have been addressed the dog is put up for adoption.
The RRR adoption process includes an Adoption Application, Verification from Landlords, Veterinarian and Personal References, Meet N Greet, Adoption Fee, and Adoption Contract. I will accept ANY dog adopted from me back into the program for any reason throughout that dog’s lifetime. I offer that so that these dogs will never find themselves inside an animal shelter again. I do not arrange Meet N Greets, prior to the completion of an Adoption Application. The reason for this is simple: If the basic requirements for an adoption are not met, I cannot ascertain this until an Adoption Application has been submitted.
If you do not have adoption interest in any of the Jacks I currently have available, please send me an email describing specifically what you are looking for. I work closely with Russell Rescue Inc., other rescue organizations, and some Jack Russell Terrier breeders and may be able to assist you in finding the right Jack for you.
The dogs seen under Courtesy Listing on my website are Jacks in need that are with their current owner but are in need of a new home. RRR has no personal knowledge of these dogs. The information given was provided by the owner. The contact person’s information is in the description given for each dog. RRR makes no guarantee as to the health or temperament of any of the dogs listed on the Courtesy Listing page.
I am often contacted by Jack Russell owners seeking advice on various subject matters such as aggression issues, behavior issues, training questions and training Jack Russells for different sporting events. To these people I offer advice and suggestions based on over eleven years of personal experiences living with, and training Jack Russells and seven years of being involved in rescuing Jack Russells. I travel throughout California & Nevada on a regular basis competing at Terrier Trials and Flyball Tournaments with my personal Jacks as well as some of my available Jacks. I often bring a couple of the Jacks I have available for adoption with me. If you have adoption interest in one of my available Jacks, there's a good possibility that they could be closer to you than you think. If you are interested in possibly adopting one of the Jacks I have available or if you just would like more information please contact by email robbin@robbinsrescuedrussells.com or jrtresq@robbinsrescuedrussells.org

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Wofford Heights, CA.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
