My name is Margaret and I found a passion in rescueing cats and dogs.I am absolute about spaying and neutering.I was born on a farm in Australia so have been around animals all my life.I came to San Diego in 1983 and after buying a house and settling in I needed to do something meaningful with my life. What began as as a small hobby has now become an obsession to save these precious heartbeats that have been "thrown away".My passion is to rescue but my prayer is that one day I won't have to.
Come Meet our Pets:
I take the rescues to Petco in Santee on Saturday and Sunday.Petco is at 9745 Mission Gorge Road Santee 92071.I am there from 11a.m. til 5p.m. both days.Through the week you may call me at 619-670-9824 or e-mail me at email@example.com.
Our Adoption Process:
All of our animals are rescued from shelters so we try to find them a loving permanent home.We interview the potential adopter to determine the suitability for the particular pet.If it is a match we have an adoption contract. All our pets are spayed or neutered and vaccinated before adoption. All pets come with medical records showing spay, microchip and vaccinations.Adoption fees vary as some of the pets are older and more difficult to place. We rescue pets that have been at the shelter for 4 days and then their time is up.We step in and save them from certain euthanasia.
Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
