Greyhound Expressions is located in Michigan, placing greyhounds throughout our state and surrounding states. Greyhound Expressions has available SCAL dogs which have completed over 2,000 hours of obedience training by inmate handlers within the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Greyhound Expressions is a non-profit all volunteer greyhound rescue and adoption group founded with a simple mission... to help greyhounds one dog at a time, it's that simple. We assist in the most appropriate greyhound selection for you based on information contained in your application and provide support services during the entire time you have one of our adopted greyhounds. We offer greyhounds ready to join your family, you add the love and in return your greyhound provides you a life of loyalty and friendship like no other animal can because they understand what a second chance really means.

Our Adoption Process:

Greyhound Expressions requires a completed approved adoption application. We do not require a fenced yard. Our adoption donation is $225 for a greyhound that has been in a private foster home and $300 for those that have completed their obedience training through The Michigan Department of Corrections by inmate handlers. All of our greyhounds have been vet checked, had a dental cleaning, been spayed/neutered, been fecal checked for parasites & treated if necessary, vaccinations are updated, bathed and nails cut, heartworm tested and on prevention, collar, leash and muzzle. SCAL dogs come with a travel bag with additional items such as a training DVD showing their new owners the training they've completed and how to continue this making you and your greyhound proud.
