About Our Rescue Group:

We are a small but determined group of animal lovers in the Wichita area. We rescue dogs from the local shelters and accept dogs that owners relinquish for adoption. We do our best to ensure that all adopters are willing and able to provide a safe and healthy home for the life of the dogs they adopt. We do this because it needs to be done.

Come Meet our Pets:

Generally, every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from noon to 2 pm at Petsmart west in Wichita. Check website for updates, exceptions and any other information.

Our Adoption Process:

Adoptions are subject to approval. A current application must be on file with ksk9resq. A home and fence check will be done prior to approval. Once approved, overnight stays are encouraged to ensure that all people and pets will be able to get along with each other.

A $95 adoption fee is required to help cover costs.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
