Animal Rescue Foundation
About Our Shelter
Animal Rescue Founation (ARF) is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, no-kill shelter for dogs and cats. We are funded entirely by private donations, fundraising efforts by volunteers and adoption fees.
ARF is always looking for new animal lovers to join us. We need caring people who are interested in devoting some time and effort to helping needy animals. Just a few hours a week can make a difference in the life of an animal. When you give animals the gift of your time, you'll get back as much as you give—maybe even more.
Come Meet our Pets
ARF always has a wide variety of beautiful cats & dogs. Please visit us at:

Our Adoption Process
All of our animals have had vet exams and vaccines, and our adults have all been spayed/neutered. Adoption donations help us cover just a small amount of the cost which is put into each pet, and aids us in rescuing the next animal in need.
Cats & Kittens..................$ 65 & up Puppies.............................$100 & up Dogs..................................$125 & up
All potential new homes must fill out an application and come into the shelter to meet the animal they are interested in. Sorry, we will not "ship" animals nor hold an animal for anyone. All prospective homes must be interviewed. Thanks for your understanding. We're open Thurs, Fri and Sat 2-6 PM.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
