All Breed Rescue and And Adoption is a small no kill, all volunteer rescue. ABRA takes in dogs and cats in need, gives them a home until a forever home is found. ABRA will try to find the best matched home for our dogs and cats in our care, this helps toward a forever home and less likely for a return. We list date, times and locations of events where you can meet an adoptable dog or cat. You may also call to find out when we will be at an event.

Our Adoption Process:

We require an application to be filled out and you must have a vet reference and home visit will take place to finalize adoption. This can be done at a adoption appointment to meet an available dog or cat . This will start the adoption process, come meet our dogs and cats. Find a pet that fits into your home and life style, fall in love, ask questions, we want to make sure the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you and your life style, this is forever. We are looking for responsible, loving, forever adopters. All viewings are by appointment only. When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
