About Our Rescue Group
We are a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and run by a network of volunteers. Our mission is to rescue abandoned cats, to promote ahd importance of sterilization and to raise public awareness of the problems of abandoned animals.
Come Meet our Pets
We hold adoption days every other Sunday at the Marcel-Giroux community center at 4501 Bannantyne Street in Verdun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next adoption days areare November 1, 15 and 29 and December 13.
Our Adoption Process
All our cats are in foster homes and people who wish to adopt one can make an appointment to visit the cat at the home or come to the adoption days. All cats have been seen by a veterinarian, vaccinated and sterilized. The fee is $130 and includes sterilization of kittens when they reach five to six months of age. Adopting families sign a contract and if they already have other cats, these cats must be sterilized.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
