Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties: All of Oregon and Washington. We do not have a transportation system in place to be able to deliver pets for adoption to adopters, so if you live farther and are willing to drive we are able to adopt to you.
ATR an All Breed Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
We are a mother/daughter team that fell in love with Terriers. Through our love for them we formed a rescue/rehabilitation center in 1995. Since then we have been helping save lives one dog at a time. The dogs admitted to our rescue come from shelters. We take only the dogs that are going to be euthanized due to space or present health of the dog. Because of this we often have dogs that are recovering from broken legs, ligament repair surgery, etc. Our rescue is solely run on adoption fees for these veterinary expenses, so when you think about adopting a higher priced dog from us, know your helping many. Our rescue starts and ends with the love of dogs. We will be here to help you along the way, you can call us anytime for help. HAVE A GREAT DOGGIE DAY!!!!!!

Our Adoption Process
To see on of our adoptable dogs please email the rescue at hunterscrossing@hotmail.com - a volunteer with schedule a meeting with you and our adoptee.
Our contract is pretty basic. Two items that are manditory in our contract is: 1. We do not adopt any outside, dog run, or garage dogs. When adopting from us you must maintain you pet as a house dog only. 2. We have a mandatory return policy. If for any reason you cannot keep the dog you adopted from us, you must return the dog to us. You cannot give it to a friend, sell it to a third party, or release it to another rescue or shelter. We also offer obedience training and boarding to all our adoptee's as we like to be there to help you with your new addition to the family. We can also recommend great veterinarians and doggie day cares.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
