About Our Rescue Group:

I have always loved dogs. After I retired from the military and moved back to my hometown, I purchased 6 acres in the country and started building kennels. I have been rescuing since 2003 and have found my passion in rescuing dogs and finding them homes.

Come Meet our Pets:

Our dogs are all listed online on various websites. We do adoption events at local pet stores which will be advertised on our website. We also have a booth at the county fair each year. The best way to meet any of our dogs is to contact us and arrange a meet and greet.

Our Adoption Process:

All adoptions start with an application and end with a contract. Our fees range from $150 - $425, depending on whether transport is involved. Requirements vary based on the type and nature of the dog (some dogs may require fencing, medical care, etc.). We are upfront at the onset of the application process about fees and requirements.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
