We have a mandatory adoption application that obtains information about the potential adopter/adopter's and their home. Afterwards we review the application and check references. Their is currently no adoption fees but donations are greatly appreciated.

About Prairie Haven Animal Sanctuary
We are currently home-based but we are working hard to obtain funds for a facility. All our animals listed are currently in our foster homes and taken care of by loving and caring people. No animal is euthanized due to lack of space. We only euthanize if the animal shows extreme aggression or has a medical problem that causes them pain or suffering. We firmly believe animals deserve to live their lives with freedom, love, and happiness much as us humans are allowed to do. Unfortunately animals can't choose their quality of life and therefore we're intent on making sure they get the life they deserve.
