About Our Rescue Group:

E-rescue-Houston is a non-profit, no kill rescue group. Most of our animals come from kill shelters in and around the Houston area. All of our dogs are spayed and neutered and up to date on their shots. We operate only on a small adoption donation and donations from the public. If you would like to donate, to help an animal, you can mail the donation to E-rescue 202 Charon Pt, Spring Branch, TX 78070 or you can visit our website at and donate using paypal. Since we are a 501(c)3 organization, all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Come Meet our Pets:

We do adoptions on all Saturdays (off 1st Saturday of month) at the
Petsmart at 10500 Old Katy Rd
Houston, TX 77043

All other days you can meet and/or adopt our animals at Country Lane Grooming and Rescue (2611 Charles Lane, Sugar Land, TX 77498, Please call for apt at 832 267-5777). They are opened 6 days a week. (closed on Tuesday). Adoption hours at Country Lane are from 10 to 5 weekdays and 11 to 3 on Sunday. We do have a few that are in foster homes, so please look closely at the description.

Our Adoption Process:

Adoption fee of 200.00 includes all vetting and microchip.

Applicant must fill out application and go through approval process.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
