About Our Rescue Group
We are a no kill rescue that started in september, 2006 when we were feeding a neighbor's cat because she was so skinny. Our mission: To help those animals who can't speak for themselves. To help the animals find theri forever home where they will be loved for the rest of their lives. To ensure and maintain their health while in our care.
Come Meet our Pets
Adoptions done by appointment only. Adoption events require emails to notify of events and times, etc.
There is a $60.00 fee for each animal that is surrendered to us. This fee goes towards the care of the animal until we can find it a new home.
Our Adoption Process
We specialize in animals 20 pounds or less and do not take in animals that have bitten people or other animals. We are only taking dogs under 20 pounds at this time. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not call if your animal is more than 20 pounds and / or has bitten somone or another animal. Thanks for understanding. We also can not predict an animal's behavior once it has been adopted, although it might take some time for the pet to grow accustomed to being in a new enviroment. We also try to make sure that each animal that comes to us, is socialized. We place animals only after an application has been filled out completely and references which include vet information and references are verified and approved. Then there is an adoption agreement (contract) that is to be signed. Our fees are normally: $125.00 for dogs (without microchip) $150.00 for dogs with a microchip $175.00 for pure breeds (without microchip) $200.00 for pure breeds with a microchip $ 90.00 for cats & kittens (without microchip) $115.00 for cats & kittens with a microchip $175.00 for pure breed cats & kittens (no microchip) $200.00 for pure breed cats & kittens with microchip Adoption fees include all vaccines and spay/neuter, heart worm test and possible microchip before adoption. We try to get these animals as healthy as we can before the go up for adoption.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
