Areas Homes for Huskies-Siberian Husky Rescue serves
Typically the Chicagoland area and surrounding counties. Out of state adoptions are difficult for us logistically. We are at the Joliet and Bolingbrook PetsMart stores during the month with available huskies. Appointments can be made to view the dogs at other times.

We have an Adoption Application and Agreement which can be e-mailed to interested parties. The current fee for any Siberian is $400.00, SUBJECT TO CHANGE, refundable in the first 10 days if the dog does not acclimate to the new family and home.

About Homes for Huskies-Siberian Husky Rescue
We are a small, breed specific group involved in the rescue of Siberian Huskies only since 1994. Most of our dogs have been picked up as strays by local shelters/animal controls. Those animals have top priority to come into our rescue program. All dogs are vet checked, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and micro-chipped. The right family is then found for the right husky. We are involved in Siberian rescue because we love and understand the breed. We want to educate the public that the cute little fur ball with the beautiful blue eyes is NOT for everyone. There is a definite need for rescue of all breeds with the pet over-population in the USA.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
