About Our Rescue Group:

Fairytale Felines & Fidos provides adoption promotion and placement for cats and dogs seeking a "storybook ending." Most have been abandoned or rescued from perilous lives on the streets or abandonded in remote areas. Could you be one's "Knight-in-shining-armor" or "Fairy Godmother?" We are a very small group of animal-lovers committed to creating a "happily-ever-after" ending for these family-friendly pets. Because we do not have a shelter facility, we do not have the resources to accept intakes from the public. We are an adoption-focused organization specializing in making the purrfect match between you and your lifelong furry friend!

Come Meet our Pets:

All animals reside in the private homes of foster volunteers, therefore, meetings are arranged by appointment. We will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours and send you a no-obligation "Match-Maker" questionnaire. If you agree that we have a potential match, we arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal, either at the foster home or at a Petsmart/Petco nearby.

Our Adoption Process:

Cat fees may range from $35-$95, depending upon the age, breed, and costs invested to prepare the cat for adoption. All cats are sterilized, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia and FIV prior to adoption.

Dog fees range from $50-$175, depending upon age, breed, and costs invested to prepare for adoption. All dogs receive vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, wormed, and vet-checked.

All animals come with an adoption packet with training resources, behavior tips, medical records, and adoption paperwork. Adoption contract, liability release, and cash payment is required for all adoptions.

Pre- adoption home visit is required, prior to confirming an adoption.

Why should you adopt?

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
