About Our
Shelter:
OLHS is a small 501(c)3 shelter that has an open door policy (no animal is turned away), to try to find good homes for adoptable pets where the pet is a part of the family and does not end up back out on the streets. Our mission is to decrease pet overpopulation by offering low cost spay/neuter program, spay/neuter education, and spaying/neutering all pets prior to adoption from the facility.
Come Meet our Pets:
559, Hwy. 7 South Oxford, MS 38655 hours open to public Monday through Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our Adoption Process:
Adoption application, adoption counselor checks vet & references and reviews application, notifies applicant 24 to 48 hours of status of application (approved or not); upon approval adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
