About Our Rescue Group:

Dogs Without Borders is a 501(c) non-profit dog rescue that saves homeless & abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area, and find them permanent and loving homes. We rely on volunteers to help us foster dogs, assist at adoption events, provide transport and conduct home visits. We are self-funded and rely on contributions and donations to keep our organization running. Our Adoption Process:

Dogs Without Borders screens potential applicants to make sure the dog is right fit for their home. We require an adoption application and a home-check. Our adoption fees are $300 for adult dogs, and $350 for puppies 3-6 months, and $400 for puppies 2-3 months. All dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and mirco-chipped prior to adoption. We also give new owners an ID tag.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
