In order to adopt you must first fill out the adoption application. This is followed by a home visit. Once approved the adoptor must sign an adoption contract. The adoption fee for all dogs is $125.

The Extra Mile Dog Rescue is a rescue dedicated to taking dogs that are not thriving in shelters, placing them in foster homes where they receive intensive training and behavior modification, and adopting them to loving homes. We do this to reduce the number of good but poorly mannered dogs being euthanized in Virginia.
