We are targeting forever homes in the northeastern United States. Our dogs come from Tennessee where overpopulation and euthanasia are rampant,

About Our Rescue Group:

At the present time It's A Three Dog Night consists of two ladies, one in NJ and one in TN who are lifetime animal lovers and dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs in the south. Throughout the south the overpopulation and euthanasia rates are astonishingly high. Dogs are often treated like yesterdays garbage and we are doing all we can to help find these poor souls loving forever homes. If you are interested in adopting or fostering or collecting donations for the cause we would love to hear from you. We welcome all inquiries and will do our utmost to respond in a timely manner. Our goal is to respond within 24 hours. We look forward to hearing from you. We presently have only one foster home and there are no children in that home so we can not vouch for the dogs behavior around children.

Our Adoption Process:

There is an adoption application and an adoption contract. Our fees vary based on the amount of medical care the animals have received prior to adoption. These fees will not exceed $250.00 and include de-worming, heartworm check, shots appropriate to dogs age, and spay/neuter surgery.

We require vet references and personal references (no family members) and when possible we do home checks. When a home visit is not feasible we ask that you send us digital photos of your home, yard and other pets.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
