About Our Shelter:

Our mission is to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of people and pets in the community, and reduce the dangers and nuisances caused by irresponsible pet ownership. We also protect pets from abuse, neglect and homelessness.

We provide the best care available for all of the stray animals that enter our facility. All those who leave our shelter have their age-appropriate vaccinations, de-worming and flea-prevention treatments and have been spayed or neutered.

We strive to educate the public in responsible pet ownership and find loving responsible homes for our unwanted and abused pets

The Shelter is located on 13740 Ball Park Rd in Walker. Louisiana. Ball Park Road is located off of Hwy 447 (Walker North Rd) appx. one mile north of Florida Blvd (Hwy 190).


Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $55.00. This fee will pay for the spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-worming and flea prevention. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract. This contract insures that the pet will be responsibly cared for and kept as a lawful, loving pet by a responsible pet owner! Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
