CPR transports to New England from the southern states. We have some foster families in NYC and their foster pups are posted here.

About Our Rescue Group:

CPR was formed in 2004 and since inception, we have placed over 5000 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens into new homes. 99% of our adoptions are facilitated long distance from our Tennessee locations to homes in New England and Florida. People ask us all the time why we don't focus more on local adoptions and our answer is very simple: Why would we rehome dogs into an area where there are no spay/neuter incentives and very little enforcement of humane laws. We seek areas of the country to rehome our pets that have differential licensing laws and enforcement of animal cruelty laws.
Our pets are transported by Road Dogs, Inc. out of West Tennessee. The pets travel to their new homes in a fully enclosed insulated and climate controlled trailer. We hope you'll check us out on Facebook to see pictures of transports past!
Most of our puppies come from local families whose personal dog has "unexpectedly" gotten pregnant. A condition of our placing the puppies is that we are allowed to have the mother dog spayed. In addition to working with families in need, we also work with local high kill animal control facilities and assist with placing pups and dogs that have ended up on death row.
CPR has a very strong volunteer base that acts as foster parents, adoption counselors/coordinators and they are also very strong advocates for spay/neuter. .

Come Meet our Pets:

Upon approval of your application, we'll be happy to set up a meet and greet with our pups that are currently fostered in NE and/or discuss transport options for pups still fostered in TN.
Please visit our website at www.cprdogs.com for our online application.

Our Adoption Process:

Please read all about us and apply at www.cprdogs.com. Our adoption fee helps to cover the cost of spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick prevention and transportation.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
